On November 30, 2023, OpenAI released their “public beta” of ChatGPT, and within days, their AI chatbot took the world by storm.
By early December, teachers were already using ChatGPT to craft lesson plans, personalize homework assignments, generate sample IEPs, draft parent emails, and much, much more.
And at the same time, students were already using ChatGPT to do their homework, write their essays, email their teachers, and much, much more. (AHHH!)

The hands-on exploration that you will do with the various AI tools you are introduced to will surely draw you into a longer journey. That‘s the beauty of a self-paced online course -- and the adventure starts here!
Yes, you will receive a certificate upon completion of the course that indicates one hour of PD participation. (Please note that different schools and states have different rules and regulations about what “counts” as PD.)
